It is difficult to put into words what Karen Fox has meant to our brokerage, our real estate family, and so many of us personally.
Karen had been part of our family since 2001, dating back to our years as RE/MAX Properties East and continuing with us as we began a new chapter as simpler.realestate. Through every season and every change, Karen was there.
Licensed for nearly 30 years, Karen built an incredible career in real estate. Alongside her best friend, Debbie Haddad, they formed the Haddad Fox Team and built a business rooted in relationships, trust, hard work, and a genuine desire to take care of people.
Karen had a huge heart. She cared deeply for her clients, her colleagues, and her real estate family. She had a way of making people feel welcome and cared for. She was always ready with that big hug, a beautiful smile, and a kind word.
Karen succeeded in every meaning of the word and made a difference in our profession, in our office, and in the lives of those around her. She literally moved the needle by the way she conducted herself and, more importantly, by the way she showed up for others.
It wasn't a surprise that when Karen began to face one of the biggest challenges of her life, she did so with incredible strength, courage, and dignity. You don't build a career and a life like Karen's without a passion for what you do, a tremendous heart, and a desire to seek joy along the way.
Karen, we will miss your smile. We will miss your hugs. We will miss seeing you walk through our doors.
