Boxcar BBQ has been located as a food trailer at 110 W. Jackson Avenue in Lufkin for the last three years or so, but will soon relocate to a remodeled building at 212 E. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲.

I first listed this home back in May of 2022 and it went under contract within just a few days. Unfortunately that contract fell apart just days before closing, and it was no fault of the sellers or the house. Life just happened.

We re-listed, went under contract again, and the same thing happened a second time just days before closing.

At that point my sellers were exhausted and honestly heartbroken, so I recommended that we take the home off the market for a while so they could just breathe and take a break from the stress.

In May of 2025, they called me and said they were ready to try again. The market was slower, but they trusted me, trusted my advice, and we stayed patient and kept moving forward.

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟮𝟳. 🎉

The buyers were an absolute blessing and the buyers agent was wonderful to work with throughout the transaction. What started as a very stressful situation turned into a really great ending, and the buyers and sellers have actually become friends through this process, which is something really special.
