I hear too many people telling me real estate is impossible. Do you believe that?

I surely don’t. I do think it means you have to think outside the box.

Whether that means you decrease your expenses by moving home or to a much less expensive rental to save or you think about partnering with a friend, there are options.

Another option is investing out of state.

None of it is easy. Risk is always scary. But the thought of missing out on passing down generational wealth and leaving a legacy is just not an option for me.

Many people on Tik Tok are confused as to why I’m selling my parent’s house.

I don’t know who put it in people’s minds that you are meant to hold on to inherited properties if they don’t make sense or cents.

Inheritance is generational wealth and that wealth is meant to be built on. If it’s done right, it will continue on to each generation and hopefully the wealth grows!

That one house my dad bought with his parents, allowed him to get a different house in a better school district with my mom.

I grew up in that house and it started the trend for me to start my real estate investment portfolio.

I’m definitely emotional about selling my parents house but it’s time for so many reasons.

Now that both my parents are gone and my divorce is final, this house is no longer serving a purpose.

But moving on is scary AF! Something I really wasn’t prepared for.

Add being a mother, add having no parents or spouse to turn to. The stress can get real when it’s just you making all the life decisions.

There was a time I thought I wouldn’t make it with my baby spending the night away from me.

Then I came to realize this is niccccceeee!

Don’t get me wrong, it took a minute and it helps that she’s 5 as opposed to 2. But if you can find a way to lean into that time, it can serve you well.

If you had asked me two years ago if I would ever marry again, I would say absolutely not!

Now if you asked me today I’d say…Never Say Never! I think that’s progress!

You gonna learn some things about yourself when you go through a divorce. Good or bad, it’s a life changing type of season.

Just so we’re clear!

Dating after divorce is interesting. It took me a minute to even want to go down this road again.

But I’m bacckkkk! It helps to surround yourself with people who love love because all they want to do is fix you up.

I for real had someone ask me this question. And the answer is absoultely NOT!

I’m open to non-christians and thats mostly because I’m done having kids but he has to be a believer in God. It would not work otherwise!

What y’all think? Could you date a non-believer?
