Located right in the Apple Hill area, Myka Estates is the perfect place to slow down, grab a glass of wine, enjoy some delicious food, and take in the beautiful surroundings.
They offer a variety of wines, including French and California selections, plus a food menu with different options and specials. And yes—they even have a kids menu! 🙌
When we visited:
🍕 My son got the cheese pizza
🌮 My daughter tried the shrimp tacos special
🥩 And I had the California beef dip
Everything was so good!
They also have a beautiful outdoor patio for those gorgeous fall days, plus indoor seating when the weather gets cooler. Their tasting room also hosts special events throughout the year, so there’s always something happening.
And the best part? It’s an easy addition to an Apple Hill day! Spend the day exploring the orchards, grabbing fresh apples, cider, pies and other goodies, then stop by Myka Estates to relax before heading home. Apple Hill itself is home to dozens of farms, wineries, bakeries and other family-friendly stops, making it such a fun day trip.

One of my family’s absolute FAVORITE fall traditions is making the drive up to Apple Hill in Placerville every year. And if you’ve never been, you are seriously missing out!
Once the weather finally starts cooling down and those apples start falling from the trees, this is one of our favorite places to spend the day. ❤️
We always make stops at High Hill Ranch and Boa Vista Orchards, and there is SO much to do!
🍎 Fresh apples & cider
🥧 Homemade pies
🍩 Apple donuts & fritters
🍫 Fudge
🎨 Handmade arts & crafts vendors
🎣 Fishing
🚜 Hayrides through the orchard
🐴 Pony rides
🎃 Pumpkin patches

🍷 And SO many wineries for wine tasting!
Basically…there’s something for everyone. Kids can have a blast, adults can shop and eat their way through the foothills, and you can spend the entire day enjoying that beautiful fall feeling.
And yes…I know it’s still hot outside right now. 😂 But I’m ready for fall, and this is one of the first places I think of when I start craving crisp mornings, apples, pumpkins, cozy sweaters and all the seasonal fun.

And the wineries?! 🍷 You could spend an entire day wine tasting until your heart’s satisfied. I’ll be sharing more of my favorite spots up there over the next few months.
