Mitcham Group Apartments was notified today that a prospective tenant was contacted by someone claiming to have information about one of our available rental properties. This individual provided a phone number that is not associated with Mitcham Group Apartments and instructed the prospective tenant to call or text them for more information.

After being made aware of the situation, we were able to locate the individual and report the account to Facebook.

For your protection, please remember the following:

✓ Mitcham Group Apartments has only ONE office phone number: 740-374-5220

✓ We will never ask you to send money through Cash App, Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, gift cards, wire transfers, or any other payment method before you have been approved and are ready to move forward with a lease.

✓ We do not collect application fees through social media messages.

✓ Applications are submitted securely through our website at www.mitchamgrouprentals.com.

✓ Any payment requested by Mitcham Group Apartments will either be through our secure website or in person at our office when you are preparing to sign a lease.

✓ We will never ask you to pay a fee just to view one of our apartments.

While we may occasionally communicate by email, any communication outside of our main office number would be discussed with you in advance. We do not use random phone numbers to conduct business.
