Atlanta's medical office market is crossing a threshold where Class A medical space is now outpricing Class A traditional office and the gap may be widening. Metro Atlanta medical vacancy fell to 6.6% and Healthcare real estate investors have been taking action to capture this need.
At Cumberland Center IV, RG Real Estate has repositioned the 218,000 SF Class A building for medical use. Rents on space converted from traditional to medical tenancy rose and 60K SF of medical tenants have been added since acquisition.
