Are YOU sure your kitchen, laundry, and bathroom vents are terminated to the exterior of your home? It’s not uncommon to find vents with no duct connected to an exterior vent termination OR with a disconnected or damaged duct. Exhaust vents are designed to carry moisture-laden air and contaminates to the outside of the house. By releasing moisture into an attic, mold and mildew can start growing on wood structures. Insulation can be damaged and will be less effective. Have your vents checked!
