New Affordable Homes Coming to South Memphis

The new Saxon-Shaw neighborhood in Soulsville will feature 12 affordable, customizable homes priced from $220,000 to $225,000.

Potential buyers can choose their lot, floor plan and interior finishes. The three- and four-bedroom, energy-efficient homes will range from 1,540 to 1,650 square feet and feature 10-foot ceilings, manufactured hardwood and tile flooring and stand-alone tubs.

The South Memphis Affordable Home Show will be held Saturday, August 22, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 681 Saxon Place.

Attendees can tour a completed home, meet the developer and access on-site mortgage pre-qualification and home-buying resources. The free, family-friendly event will also include food trucks, vendors, a DJ and giveaways.
