Harrison Blvd is getting all dressed up and ready for the Flock Cancer Street Stroll and Flock Party! Pink ribbons are going up, porches are coming to life, and one of Boise’s most iconic streets is once again showing up in the most beautiful way for survivors, fighters, families, and this incredible community.

There is something so special about watching Harrison transform into a place filled with hope, celebration, support, and love. Every decorated porch, every volunteer, every sponsor, and every person who shows up helps remind people facing cancer that they are not walking through it alone.

This event means so much to so many of us and I cannot wait to see everyone come together this weekend. Boise really does show up big when it matters most.

I am so excited to be a part of The Flock Cancer Street Stroll and all the incredible work being done to support survivors and families in our community. Packet pick up is today and the walk is Saturday, and I can already feel the energy and love surrounding this event.

It takes so many people behind the scenes to make something like this happen and I’m reminded again that many hands truly make light work. From volunteers, to sponsors, to survivors, to every single person showing up to walk beside us… thank you.

This year is going to be amazing and I can’t wait to see everyone come together for such an important cause.

Acts of service are my number one love language. There is something about showing up, helping, doing the work, and serving others that fills my heart and spirit in a way nothing else can. So when my family loves me in the same way, my heart absolutely explodes.

John is part of the CVMA, the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association, a group of combat veterans who ride together while giving back to fellow vets and their communities. They support veterans through outreach, fundraising, events, and simply showing up for those who served beside them.

Watching him continue to serve others long after his military career reminds me why I love him so much. Service isn’t just something he does. It’s who he is. And being surrounded by people who lead with generosity, loyalty, and heart is something I will never take for granted.

John is always getting on me about almost running my car out of gas and honestly… I don’t even know why he worries so much.

Some mysterious gas fairy always seems to appear while I’m away and suddenly my tank is full again.

Truly no idea how it happens.

Anyway, keeping John in my thoughts during this difficult time as he continues his battle against my “miles to empty” lifestyle.
