Hi, friends!
I’d love to personally invite you to Smashed! on Saturday, September 26, from 12:00–4:00 p.m. at The Village at Meridian.
Smashed! is an annual breast cancer awareness and fundraising event that I founded following my own breast cancer diagnosis. My journey began when I discovered blood in my bra and a large mass in my breast. Even though my initial mammogram and ultrasound appeared normal, I knew something wasn’t right and continued advocating for answers. That persistence and the medical professionals who truly listened ultimately saved my life.
I went through 16 rounds of chemotherapy and a bilateral mastectomy. Today, I’m incredibly grateful to be cancer-free and committed to helping other women receive the screenings, support and early detection resources they deserve.
That commitment became Smashed!
This year’s event will include:
● On-site mobile mammograms
● Live music
● Yoga on the Green
● Our Survivor Fashion Show
● An open-air market
● Raffle prizes, including a predawn hot-air balloon adventure for two
● Breast health information and community resources
The money we raise benefits Flock Cancer Idaho and helps provide mammograms and breast health services for uninsured and underinsured women in our community. Every dollar stays local, and the organization has no paid staff.
Whether you’re a friend, colleague, survivor, supporter—or simply someone who wants to enjoy a meaningful afternoon—I would truly love to see you there. Bring your family and friends, stop by for part of the afternoon, and help us celebrate survivors while making early detection more accessible.
