This one means so much to me. Selling a loved one's home is never just about the sale, especially under these circumstances, and I wanted this family to feel supported every step of the way, no matter how many miles were between us. Pool days are out. Festival season is very much in. 🎈

The Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic takes over Ann Morrison Park September 2–6. Three major festivals collide in Boise's North End the weekend of September 18–20. Oktoberfests pop up across the valley as the weather finally cools. The July Treasure Valley market report is here — and the numbers are telling a good story. 👇

Ada County — 947 homes sold (+4.8% from last year), median price $602,000 (+9.5% YOY), averaging 34 days to go under contract, with 2.4 months of inventory.

Canyon County — 496 homes sold (+9% YOY), median price $444,995 (+3.7% YOY), averaging 41 days on market, with 2.7 months of inventory.

The bigger picture? Nearly 8,700 homes have closed across the Treasure Valley so far this year — up 14% over 2025. Prices are climbing, inventory is still tight, and people are buying and selling despite higher mortgage rates.

People are moving here, buying here, and building lives here — and the numbers back it up.

WalletHub just confirmed what Treasure Valley locals have known for years — lowest property crime rate in the country, one of the lowest tax rates, highest median household income growth, and commute times that would make any big-city commuter weep.
