Let's rally behind Kaelyn Dirkschneider, the resilient niece and goddaughter of my real estate partner who has been courageously battling cancer. Despite facing a daunting amputation and prosthetic, Kaelyn was filled with hope for a brighter future. Though she's faced a setback, her determination to overcome this disease remains unshakeable. Currently, Kaelyn is receiving care in a Manhattan hospital with her devoted parents for the last month. Fortunately, our company, Frontline Realty Group, had designed shirts to commemorate our nation's 250th year of freedom, and upon hearing of Kaelyn's plight, they generously offered to donate 100% of the proceeds from sales directly to the Dirkschneider family. As we look forward to celebrating 250 years of freedom and community in our beautiful country, we are reminded that our greatest strength has always been how we take care of one another.
Today, the Frontline Realty family is wrapping our arms around a precious young girl who is incredibly close to our hearts the beloved goddaughter and niece of one of our very own.
She has already shown unimaginable bravery in her young life. A few months ago, she underwent a leg amputation due to bone cancer. Heartbreakingly, this past month, her family received the news that the cancer has returned to her pelvis. She has spent the last 23 days at Sloan Kettering in Manhattan, bravely battling a severe infection while continuing her fight against cancer.
Her amazing mom (a dedicated school teacher who is on limited time time from work) and her dad have been staying right by her side around the clock. We want to make sure they feel loved, supported, and lifted up every single step of the way without having to worry about the heavy financial burden of staying in the city.
