Hi everyone, we have a client who is moving to NOLA to work at Ocshner as a Surgical Tech after serving our country proudly in the Navy for over 20 years. He's looking for an efficiency or 1 BR apartment that he can live in for (hopefully) just a month while his wife stays behind in Knoxville and sells their home.

Mission Properties Foundation and Gulf Coast Housing Partnership just broke ground on a 30-unit community at 1122 Oretha Castle Haley Blvd. The $210 million they’ve already funneled into the corridor shows up here in real time: 25 efficiency flats and 5 one-bedrooms, all built to FORTIFIED Multifamily Gold standards for extra hurricane resilience. Residents—many finishing programs at the neighboring New Orleans Mission-will keep a lifeline to hot meals, vocational training and on-site support while stepping into fully independent living. CCWIV Architecture drew the plans, Colmex Construction is on the job, and funding came from eight local and national partners. If construction stays on pace, leases open in late summer 2027.
