→ Real estate through 7+ decades = consistent gains.

📉 Only 5 red years since 1950.
Let’s stop waiting for “perfect timing” and start planning strategically.

We've been acquired!

As of April 1, 2025, our team of residential realtors has been acquired by McDonald’s, the fast-food titan looking to flip more than just burgers. In a press release, McDonald’s CEO Chris Kempczinski said, “We’ve mastered the drive-thru, so why not master driveways? Flores and Partners’ expertise in home sales is the perfect combo with our McFlurry machines.” Look for us at your local Golden Arches, where we’ll be staging open houses between the fry station and the PlayPlace.

Happy April Fools’ Day—we’re still your independent real estate pros, not serving up Big Macs (yet)!

This is a 1916 Sears catalog home—back when Sears was basically Ikea before Ikea. Imagine getting your entire house shipped to you by railroad car, piece by piece. Then, your friends and family would roll up from all over to help you build it, barn-raising style.

Most Sears homes popped up in places like New Jersey, New York, Ohio, and Pennsylvania—but Madison has its fair share, too 🏡. You’ll still spot them today in neighborhoods like Vilas, Marquette, and a few scattered around the Isthmus. Madison was booming in the early 1900s, right as these kits were gaining popularity. With the University growing, industry expanding, and rail lines running right through town, it was the perfect setup for mail-order architecture.

Between 1908 and 1940, Sears sold over 70,000 of these homes nationwide, and some estimate that about 70% are still standing today—over 100 years later.

And this wasn’t just a pile of lumber. Sears sent everything: the blueprints, detailed instructions, nails, screws, paint, and even prefab parts like staircases, built-ins, and cozy breakfast nooks. All precision-cut and labeled to fit together like a giant life-sized Lego set 🛠️.

A century later, these homes are still charming the hell out of us—and Madison has some of the best-preserved examples in the Midwest. Keep an eye out next time you're cruising around town—you might be looking at a 100-year-old DIY project that still stands as strong as ever.
