🏡 What buyers are actually doing in NELA right now.

Rates are higher than a lot of people would like, but the smart buyers aren’t sitting on their hands. Here’s what we’re seeing across Monroe and West Monroe:

They’re negotiating. With more homes on the market, buyers are making offers under asking and asking sellers to help with closing costs or repairs, and plenty of sellers are saying yes.

They’re watching the homes that have been listed a while. That’s where the best deals are hiding right now.

Yesterday, our team spent the day with Lucas Sherraden and PLACE for Built to Win.

This wasn’t just another sales training.

We worked through how personality and behavior affect the way we communicate, lead, build relationships, and ultimately serve people better.

The biggest takeaway was simple: the better you understand people, the better you can communicate with them.

That matters with clients.
It matters with teammates.
It matters in leadership.
And it matters when the pressure is on.

Built to Win gave our team a better understanding of our own strengths, our blind spots, and how to adjust the way we communicate depending on who is sitting across from us.

Here’s what we hear over and over from people looking in Sterlington.

It’s growing. Sterlington has been one of the fastest-growing communities in all of Northeast Louisiana, so there’s new construction going up and real options to choose from.

It has its own schools. Elementary, middle, and high, all right in town.

It’s quieter, but not far. You get that small town feel and a little more space, with Monroe and West Monroe just a short drive away.

That mix is hard to find, and it’s why buyers keep circling back to it.
