Happy 11th Birthday to my amazing son! 🎉❤️

Looking back at this special memory reminds me how blessed my children are to be surrounded by family who love and support them. Living far from my side of the family means they don’t get to share as many everyday moments together, so I am especially grateful for all the memories they have been able to create with their father’s side of the family over the years.

From birthdays and summer adventures to family gatherings, holidays, and special trips, thank you to everyone who has been part of their lives and helped make their childhood full of love and happy memories.

My greatest wish has always been for my children to grow up knowing they are loved by all the people who care about them. 🙏😇🪽

⚽ As the excitement of the World Cup begins, I can’t help but think about how a World Cup event changed the course of my life forever.

In February 2010, I was working for Coca-Cola at the FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour event at the Eurobuilding Hotel in Caracas, Venezuela. That day, I met a man who was traveling with the Coca-Cola team as the trophy toured the world.

There was just one challenge—we couldn’t really communicate. I didn’t speak English, and he didn’t speak Spanish. Yet somehow, we connected.

What started as an unexpected meeting became a beautiful journey. Today, in 2026, we’re still married, raising our children, building our family, and sharing a life together.

The journey hasn’t always been easy. Moving to a new country meant adapting to a different culture, language, traditions, customs, and way of life. Starting over from scratch takes courage, patience, and resilience. There were moments when I felt out of place, misunderstood, or challenged by the differences around me.

But those experiences also helped me grow stronger.

I came because I fell in love. Along the way, I learned a second language, built a career from the ground up, became a wife, became a mother, and discovered strengths I never knew I had.

Today, I am grateful for every lesson, every challenge, and every opportunity. My story is proof that sometimes the most meaningful things in life happen when you least expect them.

A chance meeting at a World Cup event in Venezuela led to a family, a career, lifelong growth, and a life I never could have imagined.

Sometimes, when things are meant to be, they find a way. ❤️⚽
