More homes are entering the Houston housing market—but fewer are making it under contract.
The Week 35 Houston MSA real estate numbers reveal a noticeable gap:
New listings: +7.5%
Pending listings: −25.5%
Closings: −23.1%
Showings: +3.0%
Open houses: +11.7%
What does that mean?
Buyers are still touring homes, but they are taking their time and comparing their options carefully. Price, condition, presentation, and perceived value all matter.
