🏠 40,750 active listings
📈 5.5 months of inventory
⏳ Homes are taking longer to sell
💰 Median price: $340,000 — up just 0.6%
🔥 Meanwhile, $1M+ sales actually jumped 9.4%

So is the Houston housing market crashing?

No. But the seller’s market we got used to is gone.

Buyers have choices again. They can negotiate. They can ask for concessions. And if they don’t like your house or your price? They’ll go buy the one down the street.

Now this doesn’t mean it’s a bad time to sell or that the market it bad! It just means as a seller you can’t be greedy!

I’m still selling homes, but know that the average time is to get it sold is way higher so you do have to be patient!

Sellers beware if your agent can’t tell you, how much is going to charge you upfront to list your property then I would not sign a listing agreement that has “to be determined” or TBD in this line! It leaves you open and exposed !!!
