The sellers of this awesome property came to me wanting to list this place and hoped to sell as quickly as possible......as most sellers want to do! Jessica and I have been working with an investor for over 2 years trying to find a home for him to buy that met his list of criteria. I took one look at this place and thought it just might be a fit for him. Jessica reached out to the investor and he was THRILLED we found him exactly what he was looking for. This afternoon, I sat around a kitchen table with a couple who have been married for over 70 years. I met these people a few years back when they were searching for a home to buy. Didn't much care for the HOA they had put up with for several years and reached out to me to help. I was fortunate enough to spend time with them, looking at homes, and sharing stories and life. We found the home for them and sold their other home. Since then we've remained friends. They often call and invite me over for coffee. Sometimes I call and invite myself and they are always ready for a visit, as am I.

Yes real estate is a business, a way to make a living and pay the bills. But sometimes it's much much more than that. It's finding love in being with people who truly just want to spend time with you and talk about all the things with you. I have sat with them many times at the kitchen table drinking coffee, and sharing various stories with them, and I always feel blessed to be there. Blessed to have made a friendship with these two dear people.

They are both in their 90's and are still so active. I hope when I grow up, I'll be just like them. My parents aren't here anymore, so chatting with these two is a nice option to have! They are a gift to me!
