Battle of the Burgers Returns to Pechanga

The Temecula Valley Battle of the Burgers is coming to Pechanga Resort Casino on Saturday, October 10, 2026.

Local restaurants will compete for the “Best Burger” title, while TVUSD culinary arts students team up with Pechanga chefs to compete for the best “Loaded Fries.”

Proceeds benefit the TVUSD CTE Culinary Arts Program.

New Mission Valley Bridge Is Now Under Construction

Construction is now underway on the Fenton Parkway Bridge in Mission Valley.

The project will extend Fenton Parkway over the San Diego River and create a new high-water crossing for vehicles, cyclists, and pedestrians.

Project details

The $53 million bridge project is expected to improve transportation access, public safety, and emergency response routes in the area.

The bridge will include:

• One traffic lane in each direction
• A center turn lane
• Bicycle pathways
• Pedestrian pathways on both sides
• Improved access to nearby trolley stations

The center turn lane can also be used as an exit route during stadium events.
