September around Myrtle Beach isn’t just about the end of summer. It’s when the Grand Strand starts filling the calendar with live music, local festivals, art, food, and some longtime coastal traditions.
Throughout the month, Music on Main brings live music to North Myrtle Beach, while Art-In-Common returns to The Market Common September 12–13.
Later in the month, the area gets even busier. SOS Fall Migration brings Carolina S**g dancing and events to North Myrtle Beach September 18–27, while SeptemberFest at Barefoot Landing and the Aynor Harvest Hoe-Down both happen September 19.
Then September closes out with the Atalaya Arts & Crafts Festival at Huntington Beach State Park September 25–27 and the new NMB Live! festival on Main Street September 26.
Whether you live here, recently moved to the Grand Strand, or you’re just spending some time at the beach this month, there’s plenty happening beyond the shoreline.
Save this for your September plans and send it to someone who’s always asking, “What should we do this weekend?”
