While growing up in Wilmington, Delaware, Jeff began visiting the Outer Banks before he could walk. He could be seen rolling in the waves since his days in diapers, and still spends as much time as possible with his feet in the sand, soaking the sea water into
his skin. After graduating from Auburn University, with a degree in Fisheries Management, Jeff tried his hand at a career with Amazon.com, finding that his love of the beach was much stronger than the internet craze! As an avid free diver and outdoorsman, Jeff discovered that a career in real estate would allow him to continue enjoying life on the Outer Banks. He is enthusiastic to join the Village Realty sales team under the tutelage of his mother, Senior Broker Dru Ferrence, with whom, it could be said, he has been an apprentice for the past 30 years.
