The September list is here, and it’s the easy kind.

Nothing on it takes more than an afternoon, and half of it takes ten minutes. This is the month to reverse the ceiling fans, reset the thermostat, wash the actual pillows for once, and finally deal with the junk drawer. Then go buy yourself flowers at the farmers market…because you can!

What makes a good real estate agent? 🏡

It’s more than knowing the market or understanding contracts.

A lot of it comes down to paying attention to what a client needs in the moment and knowing when to explain something more clearly, slow the process down, or take the lead so they don’t have to carry every part of the decision themselves.

Real estate gets personal very quickly because the numbers are big and the decisions affect real life.

That’s why good representation should feel steady, thoughtful, and specific to the person in front of you.

Sometimes that means negotiating harder. Sometimes it means pointing out something a client hasn’t considered yet, or being willing to say that a house, offer, or timeline may not be the right fit.

The best advice isn’t always the advice that keeps a deal moving.

A lot of that work never makes it into the closing photo, but it can completely change how someone feels about the experience.

That’s the kind of work I want to be known for.
