💰 THE REAL COST OF OWNERSHIP — A CHECKLIST FOR NAPLES BUYERS

The purchase price is only the beginning.

Before buying a home in Naples, you need to understand what that property is actually going to cost you to own.

Here are some of the expenses I want buyers thinking about before they make the purchase:

✓ Property taxes after the sale
✓ Homeowners and flood insurance
✓ HOA or condo fees
✓ Golf, beach club, or other membership costs
✓ Special assessments
✓ Landscaping and pool maintenance
✓ Utilities and ongoing maintenance
✓ Roof, A/C and other major systems
✓ Waterfront expenses such as seawalls, docks and boat lifts when applicable

A home that looks like the better deal based on purchase price alone can sometimes become the more expensive property to own.

That’s why due diligence matters.
