I know that hanging out on your deck in January is not real popular, unless its covered, enclosed and heated. However, now’s a good time to start thinking about having it looked at to make sure its safe for when you do entertain outside again. Most decks I see are not built correctly. Over the years (and through several wet seasons) things begin to shift or breakdown. Here’s an article you might find interesting. Be safe!

Looks like Middle TN is going to get some much needed rain (with wind gusts) over the next few days. After this is done, will be a great time to clean those gutters to get them ready for winter precipitation. This next round of wind should clean the remaining leaves off. Don’t let those gutters stay full over the winter. You’d be surprised the damage that can cause. Happy Thanksgiving!

Haven’t had a look in your crawlspace or attic in a while?? I’m now offering the “top & bottom” inspection. A walk & talk inspection where I will take a look at both of these elusive spaces to check for all kinds of issues that may be developing. Better to know early than late! Early detection can save big $$$$. For example, bats get in attic through a gap in trim, drop guano. Cleanup can be $3-5k. Crawlspace moisture breaches 60% relative humidity. Fungus forms. Cleanup can be $5-20k depending on various factors. Catching these things early is huge. Hit me up if your interested, cost is $250. Hope to hear from you!
