Meet Murphy, our September Pet of the Month! She’s a 3.5-year-old, 90-pound Bernese Mountain Dog who is somehow still completely convinced she’s a lap dog.

She may look big and intimidating — and gets mistaken for a boy all the time — but Murphy is really one giant, clingy baby. She loves people, pup cups, cuddles, car rides, and being approximately 2 inches away from her humans at all times.

Her hobbies include turning leash walks into surprise games of tug-of-war, following her people everywhere, and being terrified of completely reasonable things like balloons, hydrangeas, and anyone wearing a hat.

Big dog. Tiny courage. Zero boundaries. 10/10 cuddle skills.
