RASEM CEO ANNOUNCEMENT
After 13 years of dedicated leadership and service to the REALTOR® Association of Southeastern Massachusetts (“RASEM”), Paul Chasse has concluded his tenure with the Association.
We sincerely thank Paul for all he has accomplished for RASEM throughout his tenure. His leadership, commitment, and dedication have contributed significantly to the Association and its members, and we are grateful for his many years of service. We wish Paul every success in his future endeavors.
As RASEM looks toward its next chapter, a Search Committee has been assembled to identify and recruit the Association’s next Chief Executive Officer. RASEM seeks an accessible, collaborative, and highly effective Chief Executive Officer to lead the Association in serving its members, strengthening its staff and volunteer partnerships, and advancing the interests of REALTORS® and the real estate profession throughout Southeastern Massachusetts.
RASEM provides member services, professional development, advocacy, communications, resources, and opportunities that support a strong, ethical, and successful real estate industry.
This is a leadership opportunity for an executive who is a strong communicator, relationship builder, staff leader, and advocate. The successful candidate will confidently and effectively represent RASEM with members, volunteers, public officials, community leaders, industry partners, and other stakeholders, and will bring sound judgment, professionalism, and credibility to governmental affairs and public policy matters.
The CEO candidate shall have a minimum of 4 years executive leadership experience, preferably within a trade association, nonprofit, or similarly complex member-based organization; a bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree and/or RCE or CAE designation is preferred. Experience in governmental affairs, legislative advocacy, public policy, government relations, or working with elected and appointed officials is strongly preferred, as the CEO will serve as RASEM’s senior staff leader for governmental affairs and advocacy, working closely with volunteer leaders and members. The CEO must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of RASEM’s office in Taunton, Massachusetts and be able to work on site/in person. The CEO shall not be actively engaged in the real estate business.
