🚧 Construction begins today at the Oak Run Parkway and Highway 46 intersection.

Planned as part of the long-term vision for the area, this project supports improved traffic flow, safety, and mobility for the future of New Braunfels.

Planned improvements include:
🚦 Updated traffic signals
↩️ Dedicated turn lanes and intersection realignment
🚶 Sidewalk widening and pedestrian improvements
💧 Drainage and roadway upgrades

The project will include a dedicated right-turn lane from Oak Run Parkway onto Highway 46 W toward Bulverde, as well as dedicated left and right-turn lanes from Oak Run Parkway onto Highway 46 W toward Downtown New Braunfels.

These improvements are designed to support safer and more efficient travel for years to come. We appreciate the community’s patience throughout the process.
