Registration for the next round of the Louisiana Fortify Homes Program (LFHP) is officially OPEN. The registration window will be open for three full weeks, closing at 5 p.m. on Friday, June 19. This round will be awarding up to 3,000 grants – each worth $10,000 – to help Louisiana homeowners upgrade their roofs to better withstand hurricane-force winds.

If your home is located within one of the parishes listed below, you are eligible to apply for the lottery. Acadia, Ascension, Assumption, Calcasieu, Cameron, Iberia, Jefferson, Jefferson Davis, Lafayette, Lafourche, Livingston, Orleans, Plaquemines, St. Bernard, St. Charles, St. James, St. John the Baptist, St. Martin, St. Mary, St. Tammany, Tangipahoa, Terrebonne, Vermilion.
