Not too long ago, this was just a foundation. Now you can actually walk through the house and start seeing the rooms and the finished home taking shape.

Still plenty of work ahead, but it’s always good to look back and see how far we’ve already come.

New Orleans is a city shaped by many cultures, and Hispanic heritage is an important part of the community we’re proud to call home.

🏗️ Irish Channel New Construction — Episode 2!

A lot has changed in just a few short weeks! In Episode 1, we had just finished the foundation and most of the first floor framing. Now the entire house is framed, the HomeWrap is on, and we've installed an architectural shingle FORTIFIED roof.

Inside, the electrical, plumbing, and AC have all been roughed in, and we're starting to get a much better feel for the finished layout.

We're working with a pretty tight Uptown lot, so making the most of every square foot was important. We were able to fit 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and more than 1,800 square feet into the design.

Next up: sheetrock and flooring. Stay tuned for Episode 3! 🔨

🎨 Sometimes you just have to grab a paint roller and get to work!

We recently had a tenant move out of one of our houses, and they left behind a pretty funky mural on the wall. 😂

Instead of calling a painter, we had some extra paint laying around and decided to handle it ourselves.

45 minutes later... fresh wall and problem solved!

Just another day in real estate!

🏠 We Bought Our First House… in September! 😆

This one was an inherited house that needs a complete renovation. It has a newer roof from Ida and a pretty new AC, but other than that, we’re going full bore on this one.

The heirs didn’t want to take on all the repairs, so they called us looking for a simple sale. They also needed some extra time to go through the house and remove the things they wanted to keep, so we pushed the closing date out to give them plenty of time.

Most sellers we work with want to close fast—but not everyone does. Sometimes just knowing the house is sold and the closing is ready whenever you're ready gives you the peace of mind you need.

Every situation is different, and that's why we try to be flexible.

First house bought in September. Let’s see what the rest of the month brings! 🙌

This property suffered some pretty serious fire damage, and as you can see, there’s a lot of work ahead of us.

Projects like this can look overwhelming at the beginning, but this is the kind of work we enjoy. We’re looking forward to bringing this house back and showing you the progress along the way.
