Dear Valued Residents,
There are a few important matters we need to address immediately regarding community expectations and lease compliance.
Hallway Conduct
The hallways are not areas for running, playing, yelling, or excessive noise. We have received multiple complaints regarding minors running through the hallways and creating disturbances. Please be respectful of your neighbors and keep noise levels to a minimum when in common areas.
Hallway AC Units & Thermostats
We have noticed that residents are removing AC covers in the hallways and adjusting thermostats. One thermostat was recently found set to 45 degrees, which can cause the AC units to malfunction or stop working entirely. Tampering with community equipment is prohibited. If management determines who is responsible for damages caused by this behavior, the resident will be charged accordingly.
Smoking Policy
Smoking is only permitted on patios, balconies, and in designated smoking areas. Smoking in hallways, breezeways, stairwells, or other common areas is not permitted.
Pet Waste & DNA Registration
Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs at all times. We are once again experiencing issues with pet waste in front of Building D and at the bark park. Miss Liz will be auditing pet DNA accounts, and any resident with an unregistered dog will be considered in violation of their lease agreement.
Trash & Cleanliness
Please stop leaving loose trash on the ground or using common areas as personal disposal spaces. Our vendors and the Ashton Oaks Team work hard every day to keep the property clean and presentable for everyone to enjoy. We ask that all residents do their part to help maintain the community.
We are not trying to be the “mean old landlord,” but these issues require immediate attention and cooperation from all residents to maintain a clean, and respectful living environment.
