Labor day weekend has almost arrived πŸŽ‰ switch on that out of office and get out in the fresh air and sun! What are everyone's plans? We usually go away but this year we are looking forward to a local weekend of relaxing and maybe finally checking out the Harry Potter store and Little Island. If you've been to either please send me your tips πŸ‘‡

Hope everyone enjoys the unofficial end of summer β˜€οΈ to me it never feels like summer is over here until around October. In fact, the next few weeks are often the best of summer now that the temperatures are cooler and the humidity is under control. Perfect for drinks and sunsets by the water, park days and lots of other summer fun 🌿🍹🌊 make the most of it!

Can't believe my last posts on this page were snow filled! Where does the time go? I've missed two whole seasons πŸŒΈβ˜€οΈ while I wade through all of the photos I've taken in the last few months, here's a flashback to around this time last year in Cape Cod 🌊 if you're looking for some last minute inspiration for a labor day weekend getaway I'll post a few of my highlights soon. It was a great trip, not too far from NYC and a good mix of towns and beaches πŸ–

It's only remnants of snow left (this photo was taken a while ago) and although the temperature is pretty chilly today, the sunshine is definitely making it feel like spring time 🌻 what's on your spring list? Picnics in the park, more outdoor dining, anyone brave enough to go to a game yet now that stadiums are re-opening? Things are looking up ⬆️ β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €
Fun fact: this gorgeous gold clock from 1909 is a New York City landmark and was restored by as a gift to the historic flatiron district πŸ’› it always looks so pretty against a bright blue sky, with the yellow cabs speeding past πŸš–

We're all feeling a little bit sick of the snow now aren't we? ❄ over excited when the first couple of snowstorms arrived but I guess you can have too much of a good thing πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ I'm going to bore you with just a couple more because they're so pretty (and because I pre planned my feed and I'm too lazy to change it!). Then I'll move on to some bright colors on the grid, maybe some travel memories so we can all live vicariously. This sunny, balmy weather has had a massive positive impact on my mood and motivation the last few days. Hoping it has done the same for all of you β˜€οΈπŸŒΏ make the most of it today since the forecast is rain all weekend πŸ‘ŽπŸŒ§

Has anyone noticed a new location of is in the works at Central Park South/Columbus Circle? πŸŽ‰ looking forward to being right in the middle of the two, just in case the line is too long at my local one and I need a fix! Due to open winter 2021. By that time maybe I'll be a bit more adventurous and try something other than their banana pudding 🍌 it's just SO good. Are you a pudding person or a cupcake person? 🍨🧁

The NYC comeback continuesπŸ—½snow doesn't seem to be deterring apartment shoppers. According to and 's market report, Manhattan saw a 58% increase in new leases signed in January. And the sales market is hot too, with the window of opportunity closing for buyers to get a discount. Here are some of the deals I worked on in January, at prices we haven't seen in years πŸ‘‰πŸ”‘ @ Upper West Side

Happy Friday! Is anyone going to brave the polar vortex this weekend for some outdoor dining? πŸ₯Ά Apart from a few showings tomorrow I think my weekend will consist of hunkering down on the sofa with lots of hot chocolate, a good book, maybe a fireplace stream on the TV (they're allmost as comforting as a real fire!), and reruns of friends 🧑

Too many closed deals in December to fit in an IG carousel 😱 what a wonderful problem to have. Here's most of them πŸ‘‰

I definitely got my steps in last month - between Manhattan, Long Island City and the Bronx. December saw an uptick in 3 bedroom rentals which signifies that the market for roommates sharing and families upsizing is definitely back. The word from the street with my clients was largely that they moved back in with their parents in neighboring states (sometimes further afield) at the height of the pandemic but they were ready to start enjoying the city again and get back to having their own space. I'm also still seeing people who have never lived here before taking the opportunities of remote work and lower rents to make their NYC dreams come true 🌠

A little distraction from the heaviness we are all feeling. One from our Christmas eve walk πŸ’« The Macy's windows looked extra special this year 🌟

I went for a run yesterday morning and my last playlist came on automatically. It was my curated "Christmas Tunes" on Spotify that I'd had on repeat for weeks. I won't lie, I did not change it over! It surprisingly put me in really good spirits. Think I might hold on to those warm fuzzy holiday feelings a little longer 🌠

Well the tree is down and the cookies are all eaten...how is everyone feeling about January? Deflated? Excited for new beginnings? I'm a little bit of both πŸ™‹β€β™€οΈ having the tree up made the apartment so warm and cozy but there is something refreshing about taking all the decorations down and looking forward ⏩ onwards and upwards πŸš€ @ Lincoln Square, Manhattan

What are everyone's plans for today? In the UK (and I think in places like Australia) the day after Christmas is boxing day. In some ways it's even better than Christmas Day - a little calmer, all those leftovers make amazing turkey and stuffing sandwiches, and people generally spend the day relaxing on the sofa with a box of chocolates or hitting up the sales, maybe going for a nice crisp walk. To me it seems harsh that Americans have to go straight back to work the day after Christmas and don't get an extended holiday. It's unthinkable in the UK! So today the hubby and I are very much going to make the most of it and just C H I L L ❀ ...

(maybe do some online shopping but not at unfortunately! I always love their holiday decorations though, so festive and classy 🎁)
