I began my career in the NYC area when I picked up the newspaper and saw a real estate ad that read: "Work for us and you can purchase your own home in six months." Well not only did I get the job, but my wife and I purchased our first home that year. I worked for a maverick group of investors who turned house-flipping into an art form, even making the front page of INC Magazine. During my time wi

th them, I learned the Ins and outs of finding low cost houses in the most distressed neighborhoods, turning them into jewels and selling them to people who longed to be homeowners (same as I did) and helped many people become first-time homeowners. I saw neighborhoods transformed from board-up world into some of the most desirable homes in the City. Imagine selling a brownstone in Harlem for less than $200,000. Many of those buyers are now retiring and selling those properties at such a profit that they are retiring out of state - they are set! They bought low and they now sell at the top of the NYC market. That is why I love real estate! Eventually we started our own company which gave me a bird's eye view of the flipping game. We moved from NYC to raise our grandchild in a place where he could run without fear. Here I became a volunteer fire policeman, I coached soccer and football. I continued to develop my role in my fraternity Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. (pledged in University of Miami) and I am still a proud member of that organization and of the Ancient Free and Accepted Masons of NYC. I am currently a Broker Associate with River Realty Services.
