Living in Manhattan long enough means you already know what you’d miss first.

For me, it’d probably be those Battery Park City waterfront views at golden hour (the kind that make you stop mid-scroll and just stare)… and the little ritual of grabbing something warm before a fall loop through Brookfield Place and along the Hudson River.

If I ever decide to leave Battery Park City, I won’t miss crossing the West Side Highway… but I’d absolutely cry myself to sleep missing the iconic views from my apartment.

I don’t plan on leaving anytime soon, but if I ever did, I already know exactly what would make me homesick first.
Until then, I’m making the most of all the little things that make this season here so good.
