Find Housing in NYC, find your roommate, find your sublet, find your home.
A new member urged me to share the story I spoke to him about around my personal experience in facebook housing groups:
After having found 2 apartments to sublet over the past year using various facebook housing groups, and eventually subletting an apartment of my own to a member of another housing group, I have found that a large percentage of the hundreds of members that I have communicated with have been discriminated against and were worried I would do the same.
I let them know that as a real estate professional it is my job to uphold fair housing rules for protected classes and for all!
My goal for this community is to combat the exclusive nature of other facebook housing groups, to be oriented around grass-roots organization, and make sure that no one's rights can be violated simply because they don't know the fine print of the law.
