Another article by Business Insider discussing the incredible bounce back of NYC! Even with everyone that left, NYC still had 7,743 ultra-high-net-worth individuals, the most in the world. Not to mention NYC's tax revenue was $3 billion higher then expected, coupled with %5.6 billion in federal aid, things are looking up in NYC!

New York City is still home to more millionaires than any other city. Real estate is rebounding and cash is flowing thanks to taxes and federal aid.

Very interesting article, however NYC, and especially Manhattan, already have a huge surplus of unsold apartments. Most of these are luxury apartments, in the $3 million and plus price range. This would be an excellent idea if it appealed to more affordable housing for middle class families to move to the city.

Commercial real estate has been hit hard by the pandemic, but there are plans to convert some of the now empty spaces into apartment buildings.
