The latest news on mortgage rates (despite what the media is reporting)
1. Many banks are still offering Jumbo loans in the mid 5%;
2. The mortgage rates will go down once inflation is under control;
3. You can refinance any time the rates improve;
4. By the summer 2023 the inflation rate is expected to be around 4%-5%.

Sneak peek into the Q3 Battery Park City Market Report 🚨

While the overall numbers of the Battery Park City report (swipe left for the numbers) indicate that we were in a strong sellers market in the 3rd quarter of the year, it is important to point out that more than half of the sales can be attributed to the Solaire - a new conversion in North Battery Park City. The closings commenced at the end of July 2022 and out of approximately 70 total sales in the neighbourhood 40 took place in this project. Excluding the Solaire, we remain to be in a neutral market in Battery Park City.
