Our statement on today's joint mayoral/gubernatorial announcement:

It presents a shared vision for a better New York that will advance critical goals for a more equitable and accessible city, and takes into account so many of our highest priority advocacy goals in doing so” said Carlo A. Scissura, Esq., President & CEO of the New York Building Congress. “Increasing our limited housing supply, expanding transit capacity, improving accessibility, and modernizing our business districts to be more equipped for the future is crucial for a ‘New’ New York.

We also applaud the Adams administration for heeding our urgent calls for action on a complete corridor-wide reimagining of the BQE.
