My father spent a lifetime pouring everything he had into me. His strength. His determination. His unshakeable belief that no obstacle is bigger than the person facing it. For the past few years our family has been navigating his Parkinson’s diagnosis quietly, carrying it with the same courage he taught us.
Today we are ready to open the door and invite others in.
There is strength in numbers. There is power in shared experience. And there is nothing more transformative than knowing you are not alone in your fight. Alongside a fabulous group of others, we are launching a support community here in New York City for caregivers and family members of Parkinson’s patients, because mindset is everything and no one should have to find theirs without a community behind them.
The people who show up every day for their loved ones deserve a place to be shown up for too. And the warrior in my father, the man who has inspired everything I am and everything I do, deserves to know that his fight is making a difference far beyond our family.
