ate has changed significantly over the past decade, and the Upper East Side has fallen behind when compared their Downtown and Brooklyn counterparts. This is due in no small part due to lack of innovation, care and marketing of properties in this neighborhood — and our mission is to change that. �
Our strategy to achieve this is threefold:�
1. Education – We help current residents, potential residents and co-op Boards understand how thoughtful preparation, marketing and pricing can benefit themselves and their neighbors long-term.
2. Advisory – We provide serious, data-driven, hands-on and highly personalized brokerage to every seller and developer that we work with.
3. Narrative – Through thoughtful storytelling, visuals, and smart PR, we aim to reintroduce the Upper East Side to a new generation of buyers.�
We keep our client list small by design, so that we can be hands-on with every detail of every transaction from start to finish; no handoffs to junior agents or assistants. We treat each listing like a Private Client project, not a transaction, and our Clients are always #1. While marketing is partly a creative endeavor, we believe pricing and negotiation are not guessing games — and shouldn’t be treated as such. We bring rigor, systems, and strategy to every step of the transaction. JUSTIN DUFFY is a meticulous modern real estate professional with traditional business values. He is the business operations and systems proprietor for Fifth Madison Group. Over the past decade as a broker, Justin has become known for his honesty and candor, his ability to translate customers' goals into strategy, his ability to usher the transaction forward, and a genuine care for his clients' wellbeing. His clients often commend his professionalism, his ability to remain calm in difficult negotiations, and for his sense of humor. Prior to joining Brown Harris Stevens, Justin founded a large, top producing and high-volume team of agents at a boutique real estate firm. Originally from Sweden, MIKAEL JOHANSSON is a sales tour de force and the creative engine behind Fifth Madison Group. His polished and personable persona allows him to navigate the complex relationships that being an effective real estate broker requires. Mikael's aesthetic eye is invaluable for staging and preparing properties for sale, and guiding purchasers toward the right fit in a new home. He also puts a lot of care into his relationships, and is known for his thoughtfulness. Both Justin and Mikael are proud members of the Real Estate Board of New York, New York Residential Agent Continuum, and the American Real Estate Association. Justin holds a Master Certified Negotiation Expert® designation and is a licensed Notary Public. They are both deeply involved in the brokerage community at large and in the Upper East Side neighborhood they both love and call home.
