EIRTIE – Tourism in Egypt.
Egypt, a country like none else dating back to the age of Pharaohs.
Being the link between Northeast Africa and the Middle East, it has been gifted by a strategic location in the middle of the world.
Egypt is a country that lies on 2 great seas, the mesmerizing Red Sea and the vast Mediterranean Sea, of which the country has utilized by linking the two to create the world’s most important canal, the Suez Canal.
The Red Sea Coast is known by its mesmerizing and breath taking coral life, which is always abundant and thriving.
The Red Sea is home to great touristic destinations that always host tourists from all over the world, of which:
• Sharm El-Sheikh, which is in South Sinai, Sharm El-Sheikh is a known tourists destination that promises both luxury and amazing marine life.
• El-Gouna, El-Gouna is the premier Red Sea holiday destination, a self-sufficient town boasting 18 hotels and offering various activities. It's truly one of its kind.
• Marsa Alam, Marsa Alam is a resort town on the Red Sea in Egypt. It’s renowned for its sandy beaches and coral reefs. The U-shaped Abu Dabab Bay is known for its sea turtles and dugongs (sea cows).
• Dahab, which is home to the renowned Blue Hole which is a prime destination for experienced and professional divers.
• Hurghada, Hurghada is a beach resort town stretching some 40km along Egypt’s Red Sea coast. It’s renowned for scuba diving, and has numerous dive shops and schools in its modern Sekalla district.
The Mediterranean Coast is host of Egypt’s most renowned beaches and resorts, it hosts famous cities in the likes of Alexandria, Al-Alamein, Sidi Abd El-Rahman, El-Dabaa, Ras El-Hikma and Marsa Matrouh, these cities are hosts of incredible tourists destinations like:
• New Alamein City, which is planned to be the most prominent touristic business destination on the Mediterranean, with its unique and marvelous design, New Alamein promises luxury like none else.
• Sidi Abd El-Rahman, which hosts resorts of Hacienda Bay, Marassi and Bo Islands.

And of course, if we are to talk about tourism in Egypt, it is a must that we talk about the Pharaonic monuments in Egypt, led by the Great Pyramids of Giza and the destinations to the south by Luxor and Aswan.
• The Great Egyptian Museum, when completed, the Grand Egyptian Museum just outside of Cairo on the Giza Plateau (and next door to the Pyramids) will not only be the new crown jewel of Egypt, but it will also be one of the largest, most modern, and most renowned museums in the entire world.
• The Giza Pyramids, built to endure an eternity, have done just that. The monumental tombs are relics of Egypt's Old Kingdom era and were constructed some 4,500 years ago, located at the Giza plateau, The Giza Pyramids are surrounded by amazing hotels and resorts to accommodate tourists in every way.
• Luxor, the ancient city of Thebes, the great capital of Upper Egypt during the New Kingdom, and the glorious city of Amun, later to become the god Amun-Ra in Pharaonic mythology. Luxor alone has one third of the world's ancient monuments such as the Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple, Valley of Kings, Valley of the Queens, and the Temple of Deir al-Bahri.
• Aswan, is known to be one of the calmest and most comfortable place in Egypt away from the city life. Aswan holds amazing must-see place like The Unfinished Obelisk, The Nubian Museum, Philae Temple, Kom Ombo Temple, The High Dam, Edfu Temple and many more!
In short, Tourism in Egypt is underrated, known to people who visited to be one of the most exhilarating experiences of their lives.
