A must-visit to the Met’s exhibition, Women Dressing Women. The extraordinary story of the way in which women in the 1920s took over couture design from the industry which until then was dominated by men!

Last night’s Fall Benefit for the National Dance Institute called Jacques’ Art Nest Series Presents: “It’s All in the Shoes.”

The evening performance by students of the school with dancers from the New York City Ballet included demonstrations of multiple kinds of dance 💃performed in many different kinds of shoes, from ballet slippers 🩰 to clogs — from Swan Lake 🦢 to modern dance.

The evening was especially lovely for me as former president of the Kentucky Dance Council and chairman of the Louisville Ballet where Jacques d’Amboise, whom I knew and admired, came to teach and perform.

Pictured with me are Marc Mellon, the sculpture of this wonderful bronze bust of Jacques d’Amboise, and my friend Shining Sung, close friend of Jacques who is also known for her philanthropy in music 🎶 around the world.

Overlooking the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir in Central Park from my exclusive, 9A at 1115 Fifth Avenue. This rare South-facing window captures the beautiful colors in the park and the architecture of Central Park South.

This is one of 10 windows overlooking Central Park in this magnificent apartment, a jewel in the crown of Carnegie Hill.

And a glimpse of the last of those autumn leaves that “drift by my window” and that we so look forward to every season.
