Honored to take the mound once again—this time at Progressive Field in Cleveland—for my seventh ceremonial first pitch, alongside the . Moments like these never lose their meaning, and I’m grateful for every opportunity to combine America’s pastime with causes that matter.
Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to stand on some of baseball’s most iconic fields, each experience representing far more than a game. Every invitation has been an opportunity to shine a light on philanthropy, community, and creating opportunities for others.
The journey began at Fenway Park with the , followed by unforgettable stops with the in Chicago, the in Minnesota, and the legendary in St. Louis. My fifth ceremonial pitch came in Philadelphia with the , and last season I had the privilege of throwing my sixth first pitch at Nationals Park with the .
Now, Cleveland marks a new chapter.
Standing on the mound at Progressive Field, home of the Guardians, serves as another reminder that sports have the power to unite communities and amplify important causes. Whether it’s supporting underserved youth, advancing education, expanding access to housing, or investing in health initiatives, every city and every stadium have helped further a mission that extends well beyond the baseball diamond.
Seven first pitches. Seven major league cities. One unwavering commitment to making a difference.
I’m deeply thankful to every MLB organization that has welcomed me over the years and to the countless people behind the scenes who believe that baseball can be a platform for impact.
The journey continues, and I remain convinced that sometimes a single pitch can represent something much bigger than the game itself.

Post from Daniel Neiditch Atelier President. For six years, I’ve had the privilege of participating in the Israel Day on Fifth celebration in New York City, and each year I am reminded why this event is so important. What takes place along Fifth Avenue is far more than a parade—it is a powerful expression of unity, resilience, pride, and hope. It brings together people from all walks of life who believe in the values of freedom, democracy, coexistence, and the enduring strength of community.
Every year, tens of thousands of participants line the streets of Manhattan while millions more watch from around the world. The atmosphere is extraordinary. Families, students, community leaders, elected officials, and supporters gather with a shared purpose: to celebrate Israel’s achievements, culture, innovation, and contributions to the world, while also standing firmly against antisemitism, terrorism, and all forms of hatred.
What inspires me most is seeing people come together despite the challenges and divisions that often dominate the headlines. In a world where conflict, intolerance, and violence continue to impact far too many lives, events like this remind us that unity is stronger than division and that hope is stronger than fear. They remind us that each of us has a responsibility to speak out against hate, defend human dignity, and stand up for what is right.
I have always believed that leadership is not measured by words alone but by action. Whether through philanthropy, community service, advocacy, or simply showing up in support of causes that matter, we all have the ability to make a positive difference. The Israel Day on Fifth celebration is a testament to what can happen when people come together around shared values and a common vision for a better future.
I remain committed to advocating for peace, justice, and the protection of innocent lives.
A special thank you to the incredible organizers, volunteers, sponsors, security personnel, and community leaders whose hard work makes this event possible year after year. The success of this celebration is a reflection of your dedication, passion, and unwavering commitment to bringing people together.
Together, we must continue building bridges, rejecting hatred in all its forms, and creating a world defined by understanding, respect, and peace.

Tonight, I want to recognize someone whose story continues to inspire millions around the world — Jake Gyllenhaal.
Despite struggling with dyslexia growing up, Jake never allowed learning challenges to define his future. Instead, he turned perseverance, discipline, and passion into one of the most respected careers in Hollywood. From critically acclaimed performances in films like Brokeback Mountain, Nightcrawler, Southpaw, and Prisoners, to his work on Broadway and his continued philanthropic efforts, he has shown that learning differences do not limit greatness.
What makes his journey even more meaningful is his support and advocacy for children facing educational challenges and learning disabilities. For so many young people struggling in school, hearing successful individuals openly discuss dyslexia helps remove the stigma and reminds them that intelligence comes in many forms.
As a board member of The Promise Project, I have the privilege of seeing firsthand the incredible impact early support, mentorship, and resources can have on children with dyslexia and other learning disabilities. The work we do focuses on empowering children, building confidence, and helping families gain access to opportunities many otherwise would not have. Every child deserves the chance to realize their potential, regardless of the obstacles they may face in a classroom setting.
Jake’s story is proof that setbacks can become strengths. His accomplishments, including Academy Award nominations, Tony Award recognition, and a career spanning some of the most challenging and respected roles in entertainment, demonstrate what determination and self belief can achieve. More importantly, his openness about overcoming dyslexia gives hope to children who may feel misunderstood or discouraged today.
Thank you, Jake, not only for being an inspiration to children dealing with learning disabilities, but also for your friendship, kindness, and continued support of causes that help young people succeed. Your voice and example truly make a difference.
To every child facing educational struggles: your challenges do not define your future. Some of the brightest, most creative, and most accomplished people in the world once sat in classrooms feeling exactly the way you do now. Keep believing in yourself.

Post from Atelier President Daniel Neiditch.

As we prepared for our annual event for today, I keep thinking about the children in the Bronx who are struggling in silence every single day. As a board member I have seen first hand the incredible work that’s being done.
So many are living with undiagnosed learning disabilities sitting in classrooms frustrated, discouraged, and too often overlooked by a system that isn’t giving them the support they deserve.
That’s why stories like matter so much. Growing up in NYC public housing and navigating dyslexia, she went on to become one of the few EGOT winners in history—earning an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony Award. Her journey is proof that with the right support, belief, and opportunity, anything is possible.
But for every story like hers, there are thousands of children still waiting to be seen, understood, and given a real chance.
At The Promise Project, we’re working to change that—providing critical evaluations, support, and advocacy so these kids don’t fall through the cracks.
This is about more than education—it’s about giving children confidence, dignity, and a future.
Please consider donating and being part of that change.

Congratulations to Aubrey Plaza on her new Prime TV series Kevin and her pregnancy—an incredible and exciting chapter in her life both personally and professionally. Being able to watch the premiere with her made it even more special, and I can confidently say this is going to be a hilarious, must-see show that people are going to be talking about.
What really stands out about Aubrey, beyond her undeniable talent, is who she is as a person. In an industry filled with so many personalities, she is truly one of the most genuine, grounded, and authentic individuals I’ve had the pleasure of knowing. There’s a sincerity about her that you don’t always find, and it’s refreshing. She doesn’t just talk about making a difference—she actually steps up and does it. Without hesitation, she offered to be part of my gift initiative in the South Bronx next year, and that speaks volumes about her character and the kind of heart she has. Giving back isn’t just something she supports—it’s something she genuinely cares about.
Her career continues to reach new heights. From her standout performance in The White Lotus, which earned her nominations for both a Primetime Emmy and a Golden Globe, to being named one of Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People in 2023, Aubrey has already accomplished so much. But what’s even more exciting is knowing that she’s just getting started. There’s a momentum around her right now, and it’s clear that even bigger things are ahead.
I’ve been fortunate to meet and spend time with many actors and celebrities over the years, but I can say without hesitation that Aubrey is truly one of a kind. She carries herself with humility, humor, and authenticity, and that combination is rare. It’s not just about the success she’s achieving—it’s how she’s achieving it and the kind of person she remains along the way.
I’m really looking forward to everything that’s next for her—both in her career and in this exciting new chapter of her life. And I’m especially excited to work together on meaningful initiatives that make a real impact. Big things ahead, and well deserved.

Was great spending time with the legend Tiki Barber. One of the most dynamic and versatile players to ever play the game, and part of an incredibly rare group—he’s one of the only players in history to surpass 10,000 rushing yards and 5,000 receiving yards. What makes that even more impressive is that he retired while still at the top of his game, walking away as the Giants’ all-time leading rusher and leaving behind a legacy that still stands strong today.
Beyond the field, his transition into broadcasting has been just as impressive. From his time with NBC to now being a major voice on , he’s continued to stay close to the game while sharing his knowledge and perspective with fans every day. It’s not easy to reinvent yourself after a professional sports career, but he’s done it seamlessly and continues to thrive.
What stands out even more than the accolades, though, is the impact he’s making off the field. I want to thank him for his dedication to helping children and his incredible work as an ambassador with . His commitment goes far beyond words—he has run in numerous marathons and events to raise awareness and funding, consistently showing up for a cause that truly makes a difference.
As the New York Road Runners’ premier charity, Team for Kids provides free youth and community programs for more than 112,000 kids nationwide, helping them build confidence, stay active, and develop lifelong healthy habits. That kind of impact changes lives, and it takes people like Tiki—who continue to give back long after their playing days are over—to make it all possible.
What makes it even more meaningful is that, as a father of six, he still finds the time and energy to give back and support other children who may not have the same opportunities. That says everything about who he is—not just as an athlete, but as a person.

Post from Atelier President Daniel Neiditch -

There is truly no better place to be in NYC than . Growing up in the Bronx, just the thought of being there always felt like a dream—something bigger than life itself. I didn’t get to go to games back then, but I never stopped believing in what it represented: passion, pride, and the idea that anything is possible.
Now, sitting next to the team and cheering them on in the stadium, it’s hard to even put into words what that moment means. It’s a full circle feeling—one that reminds me how powerful it is to hold onto your dreams, even when they feel out of reach.
This night was more than just baseball. It was a reminder to always follow your passions, stay true to yourself, and never let anyone tell you no. What once felt impossible can become reality if you keep pushing forward.
Thank you to , Paul Goldschmidt, and the Captain for making it such a special evening in the Bronx. And to for leading this team with confidence and belief—we have everything it takes to bring a championship back where it belongs.
A special thank you as well to the Steinbrenner family for everything you continue to do for the Bronx community. Your impact goes far beyond the game and doesn’t go unnoticed.

Post from Atelier President Daniel Neiditch-

It was great seeing Kevin Love at the Utah Jazz game during my visit. I’ve long supported his incredible charitable work, which continues to make a meaningful impact.
When Kevin Love publicly shared his own struggles with mental health, he couldn’t have known the movement it would spark. One by one, other high-profile figures—and thousands of everyday people—found the courage to speak up and share their own stories. What followed was the beginning of a powerful national conversation.
Through the Kevin Love Fund, he has taken that momentum even further—working to inspire people to live healthier lives by creating true equity between mental and physical health. As an evidence-based organization, the Fund focuses on research, education, and shifting the narrative to break the stigma surrounding mental health.

Post from our President Daniel Neiditch

What an incredible retirement celebration for my friend, undefeated world champion boxer . Truly one of the all-time greats in the sport — and an even greater human being outside the ring.
While his accomplishments in boxing will forever be part of history, what excites me most is watching him channel that same discipline, heart, and determination into philanthropy. We’ll be working together on meaningful charitable initiatives and continuing to build his foundation so he can give back in a powerful way to his local community in Alabama. Terence hasn’t had an easy road to get where he is today, and that journey is exactly what fuels his passion to help children who need opportunity, mentorship, and belief. We both share a deep commitment to supporting kids and creating pathways for the next generation to succeed.
He’s as stand-up as they come — loyal, focused, humble — and in many ways, this next chapter may be even more impactful than his boxing career. His story is far from over.
It was also great celebrating alongside the always-entertaining , who kept the room laughing all night. Beyond the music and entertainment, he’s become a philanthropist in his own right, and I’m looking forward to working with both 50 and Terence to make a real difference in communities that need it most. Having boxed and previously for charity. I look forward to my next match against Terrance to raise funds for a good cause.
Huge thank you to and for hosting such a first-class evening, and to for the incredible setting and hospitality. A truly special night surrounded by champions — in and out of the ring.
The celebration was amazing, but the real work — and the real impact — starts now.
