My nickname, not only in my professional life as one of the top real estate brokers in Manhattan, but in my personal life as well. How lucky am I to live in the most exciting city in the world, make a living doing what I love. I also have been blessed with two amazing daughters who are attending college. Relationships:
By definition, a “broker” facilitates bringing parties to

gether to sell real estate, but I see my job as so much more. There are no words to express how honored I feel to have helped thousands of people start new chapters in their lives. The relationships I have nurtured during my 39 year career, enable me to help my clients even after the deal has closed. Giving Back:
There is nothing I love more than trying to make the world a better place in big and small ways! ONE BLOCK: In response to a drastic reduction in trash pickup on the Upper West Side, I co-founded ONE BLOCK in the summer of 2020. Hundreds of volunteers signed up to clean not only their block but other areas of our neighborhood. We also hired three formally homeless men from ACE (Association of Community Employment Programs for the Homeless) to supply additional paid manpower to help us keep our community even cleaner. I founded WWW to educate and empower women of all ages but with a focus on those of us 45 and over. Prior to the pandemic, I hosted free dinners for 60 plus women every month. Each evening we welcomed speakers on a variety of different topics. GOD’S LOVE WE DELIVER: This fabulous charity home delivers, medically tailored, healthy meals, to New Yorkers too sick to cook and or shop for themselves. I have been on the host committee for their annual benefit concert “LOVE ROCKS NYC” since it started five years ago. Additionally, I help coordinate the “RIDE FOR LOVE”, the annual Douglas Elliman sponsored bike-a-thon, and the 20th anniversary of the “COW PARADE” coming to NY this summer. EEO BAHAMAS: After my daughter, Riley was diagnosed with dyslexia in the first grade, her life was changed by getting the specialized help she needed to get her confidence back and thrive. EEO is a grassroots organization focused on helping children on the Bahamian island of Eleuthera (who also have learning issues) get the help they desperately need. Ten years ago my daughters and I started a summer literacy camp in partnership with them that has grown to now serving over 70 special children.

Friends of Bruce Willis and his wife Emma Heming Willis came together at the most recent Soho Sessions last Wednesday, to support their family and shine a light on The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration, the type of Dementia that Bruce has.

The line-up of musicians was epic: Keith Richards, Warren Haynes, Norah Jones, and the legendary Mavis Staples. The audience was star-studded as well: Michael J. Fox, Tracy Pollan, Whoopi Goldberg, Kevin Bacon, and Kyra Sedgwick, to name a few.

When I learned that Bruce was diagnosed and Emma was writing a book (The Unexpected Journey) to help other care partners, I wanted to find a way to help and support them, and that is where my real estate partner and dear friend, Greg Williamson, came in. Greg and Nicole Rechter are the co-producers of not only the annual LOVE ROCKS NYC concert (in its 10th year) that benefits GODS LOVE WE DELIVER, but more recently, Soho Sessions. They have raised more than $80M for GLWD and various charities, so asking them to help support Emma was the perfect fit.

Between all the incredible press and social media posts, this concert with only 150 guests brought at least 100 million eyes to this very important cause.

What started as an idea to help a friend turned out to be more than I would ever imagine. I am so grateful to Greg and Nicole and so very proud of Emma. She has stepped out of her comfort zone to become a fierce protector of her husband and daughters, and an advocate, teacher, and supporter of AFTD and care partners around the world.
