Walt Ellison was a mainstay in the Westside for years and years. He managed buildings and coordinated projects, really a jack of all trades in mom and pop type real estate.

Hibernia Bar in midtown honors him every year with a golf tournament at Van Cortland Park. This year the winning foursome was Mike Ellison, Sean & Aidan (Hibernia’s owners) and yours truly. We benefited from some key (ringers) participants missing this year 🤣 and won at a respectable 5-under par.

This was my first time at the bar here with Sean and a young future Walt Ellison golf outing participant.

Much ❤️, we miss you Walt!!!

Dear 450 Lex, your lobby doesn’t have to be 55 degrees on a 90 degree Saturday. Doormen, actually Doorman sweat at 70 degrees.

While individuals and businesses work to navigate increased costs, it seems congestion pricing is somewhat thwarting congestion.

MTA officials say they’ve seen a mountain of early data to back up what many drivers have noticed: much less traffic in the three-plus weeks since congestion pricing began.
