We service Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn along with parts of the Bronx, Jersey City and Hoboken! 😺 We offer pet sitting in your home and cat boarding in our host-family homes. We carefully pre-screen every pet sitter before they are invited to join our network of cat sitters and pet boarders. And all of our sitters and boarders are insured and bonded. The roster of persons who work for us is ecl

ectic and includes professionals who do it as much for the love of animals as for any other reason. Among the ranks of our dedicated staff are nurses, journalists, teachers, social workers, stay-at-home moms and dads, veterinary technicians, administrative assistants, and graduate students. At Katie’s Kitty, our caregiving goes well beyond just the physical needs of your pet. We believe that, as with humans, there is a mind-body connection in animals. As such, the emotional state of your pet is just as important as his or her physical well-being. To that end, we take great pains to reduce occurrences of stress, frustration, loneliness – and yes, even boredom – in the life of your loved one. We always take our cue from you. And so, if an exercise or play regimen is part of your daily routine, we will do our very best to recreate it. Through our keen awareness and attention to detail, the likelihood that your pet will feel safe and content in your absence is greatly enhanced.

A little beauty down in Brooklyn, Summer and her brother Ace are two of the sweetest in the borough. Our sitter Marissa reports that Summer is the type to observe her curiously, and also will sit pretty for pictures easily. We love a charming kitty anytime! 😻

When it’s rainy outside, we are extra grateful that our service means staying indoors with kitties!

Today, meet Aslan and Fawkes! Aslan is the handsome, buff fellow who looks like the namesake in the CS Lewis books, while Fawkes is the stunning boy with a Siamese pattern on his face! According to our border Karin, both fellows have been amazing guests- Aslan strolled into her apartment as though he was always meant to be in Midtown, while Fawkes took a little bit longer to adjust, but followed Aslan’s example really well. Both of them adopted so well that they took to greeting her at the door when she came home, and jumped in bed to sleep at night!

We love you Aslan and Fawkes! We hope all of you are having a terrific Saturday in spite of the rain outside!

Happy gorgeous Sunday! East says hello and is taking total credit for how cute this corner of the room looks now that she’s “accentuated” it by lounging on the armchair! Her sitter Alice adores how natural and at ease she is in prettily decorated settings, and we cannot help but agree- black cats do highlight a room and pull a look together 🐈‍⬛

Happy Friday! Meet Mango!🥭

At 2.5, she is packed full of energy and “look at me” personality. She is hands-on during visits: showing us around the apartment, pointing out the food closet, and even sharing her window time so we can peek outside with her! We especially like how immediately at ease she is with pets, and can tell we will be doing plenty more this weekend with her! 🌟

What’s better than one gorgeous golden fluffy cats? TWO gorgeous fluffy cats— meet Ivy and Ivan! 😺😺

Our wonderful boarder Karin had the pleasure of caring for these sibling Lilac Golden British Long Hair cats. With their they big eyes, long soft fur and their shy polite manners, their 9-day stay with Karin had plenty of joy: daily brushing, looking out the window and lots of petting. And at their happiest, they even chattered with each other in their own language! 🧡🧡
