Christmas came early this year and this time it wasn’t an item, rather an unforgettable adventure 💚 People we met, places we saw and moments we shared are priceless!
Climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro🏔 was once in a lifetime experience - exhausting, spectacular, breathtaking (literally!), humbling and challenging💪 Getting to the top wouldn’t be possible without my partners in crime Aleksandra Marek and Bart Olszewski as well as our amazing guide Mwinyi Mkude and his crew - Kelvin, Simon, Thomas, stomach engineer and others guys🙌 They were making sure we had our luggage waiting for us on every camp as well as food on the table🥗, drinking water, tents set up⛺️ and warm water to wash 🧼 At some point we all agreed that our job was “just make it to the top”.
Summit day was the hardest. We started climbing at 11pm, made it to the Uruhu Peak (19,341ft / 5895m) at 6:45am and then still needed to go back to the base camp. I guess the tougher it gets the better it is..😄
Last few days in Tanzania 🇹🇿 we spent on exploring Safari - Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro Crater. Never thought that spending hours staring at animals can be so exciting.. Each park offers different landscape but the adrenaline goes off the roof in every one of them! From Impalas protecting their herds, through elephants 🐘 hugging, playing and freaking out (YES😬) to lions🦁 and hyenas fighting for food🤯 this was more then we could’ve asked for.
Wish you all Happy Holidays 🎁 filled with beautiful moments and successful 2021🥳 - damn right we deserve it👊 @ Moshi, Kiliminjaro Tanzania, Africa
