Those of you who are loyal followers of The Smash (according to greg mchale) have, I’m sure, noticed a severe lack of activity in recent months and that is due to me spending most of my time outside of my day job working on an exciting new project.

On the Real NY is a new project I created with my business partner Jesse Shafer. It is a place to blog about what it means to be working husbands, dads and regular guys with not-so-regular careers. It’s about exploring this dynamic city’s modern and long forgotten curiosities. It’s about celebrating the human ingenuity and creativity that make this relentlessly evolving metropolis tick. And it is hopefully about the fun that can be had when your office is also your playground.
