A Dholki is so much more than the music, the color and the festivities. It’s women coming together, generations sharing rituals, laughter and stories, and friends becoming family.

There’s something incredibly special about traditions that have traveled across generations and across the world—and still have the power to bring us together in exactly the same way.

Such a joy celebrating a dear friend as she gets ready to welcome a new daughter into her family. 💛

If you’re planning a trip to Chicago, save this one.

The newly opened Obama Presidential Center in Jackson Park is already becoming one of the city’s most talked-about destinations.

From the immersive museum experience to the architecture, gardens, public spaces, and views, there is so much more to explore than I expected.

I visited recently, and I can see why this is quickly becoming a must-see Chicago experience.
