Walking outside my apartment on East 65th Street today, I saw about 25 people waiting on the sidewalk. I walked up to one and asked, fire alarm? He responded. No, we're all here to see an apartment.

6pm on a Monday and two dozen people are outside, waiting to see a 4th floor walk-up one bedroom for $2,900.

Damn.
