This National Mental Health Awareness Month, we’re proud to work with other shopping center owners on Signs of HOPE, a peer collaboration focused on making mental health resources more visible in the places people visit every day.
Together, fifteen companies installed 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline signs at more than 1,650 shopping centers nationwide, exposing this life-saving message to 4 billion annual visits. By bringing awareness to this free, federally funded Lifeline, we hope our communities find the support they need when it matters most.
At Brixmor, we strive to be the center of the communities we serve. Our centers play an important role beyond retail, supporting the everyday well‑being of the people who visit them. Through Signs of HOPE, we’re helping ensure a clear, visible message of support: you’re not alone, and help is available.
If you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health crisis, call or text 988 to connect with trained counselors, 24/7.
We’re grateful to partner with industry peers who share this commitment and are proud to amplify the impact together.
